Pronouns: she/her

  • Job: Real Estate Development Consultant

  • What brought you to 826 New Orleans? I helped 826 New Orleans (when it was still BIG CLASS) to find its current location in the 7th Ward and I fell in love with the programming and the vision of the program.

  • What are you most excited about as a board member? Supporting these awesome kids and getting to see them grow.  I get emotional every time I come to a publishing party.  These are some cool kids!

  • What was your favorite book as a kid, and why? The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster.  I loved the adventure of it and the crazy made up world.  And I am a big ole nerd about words so it fits me perfectly

  • What are you up to outside of your work with us? I work with non-profits and for-profits and lately we are developing a lot of housing which is great! I also collected a menagerie of animals during the pandemic so now I run a zoo.

  • If you were a ghost for a day, where would you most like to haunt? I think if I were a ghost for a day, I would love to make someone’s day a little bit easier.  Maybe I help some 15 year old get her crushes attention or I help make a missed connection happen.  Or maybe I just go hangout at NASA and learn how to build a rocket.
